'Crust & Crumble Pizzeria started with an ambitious vision: to offer true Neapolitan pizza to Rome. Established by the Romano family in 1985, our small, family-managed pizzeria was built on recipes passed down for generations.
Marco Romano, our founder, mastered the pizza craft during her journeys across Italy, where she apprenticed with renowned pizzaiolos in Naples—the home of pizza. Upon her return to the UK, she aimed to replicate the essence of authentic Italian pizza, adhering to time-honored techniques and selecting only premium ingredients.
Initially a humble pizzeria with 12 seats, we have evolved into a cherished part of the locale, while keeping our promise of delivering high-grade quality and genuine taste. We maintain our wood-fired oven baking methods, freshly prepare our dough each day, and obtain the best ingredients available.
Now, 'Crust & Crumble Pizzeria' is still held and managed by the Romano kin, with the second generation at the helm of a dedicated team. Though we've adopted a few contemporary innovations, our core mission persists: to serve savory, original pizza that unites patrons.
